2023 Memorial Day Weekend at Granbury Square

Granbury’s three-day patriotic festival takes place in the city’s historic square. The event features live music, reading of the Flanders Field Poem, the introduction of Gold Star Families, a bagpiper, ‘Taps Across America’, street vendors and food trucks, hot dog & pie eating contests, a balloon clown, a patriotic pooch pageant, and a Kid Zone for yard games and a spider bungee trampoline jump.
Carry the Load Memorial Day March

Remember what Memorial Day is all about and honor our nation’s heroes at the Carry the Load Memorial Day March in Dallas. The two-day event is the organization’s flagship event to raise money for its services, as well as awareness.
The event begins at Noon at Reverchon Park and features live music, food trucks, a kids’ zone, and more. The step off to begin the 20-hour march starts at 4:30 p.m.
Dallas Symphony Orchestra Parks Concerts

Celebrate Memorial Day with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra during the free, annual Memorial Day concert and fireworks display at Flag Pole Hill Park. The performance begins at 8:15 p.m. and includes a fireworks display that will begin at 9:30 p.m.
Cowtown Fair

Looking for some fun entertainment for the whole family this weekend? Look no further than the Cowtown Fair at the Texas Motor Speedway. With carnival rides, games, a petting zoo, fair food and even a thrill show, this event is a crowd-pleaser. Tickets cost $10. Kids 5 and under get in free.
Boots & BBQ Fest

Legacy Hall is going big for DFW Memorial Weekend with all-day country music, craft beer and delicious BBQ! Pre-ordering your BBQ plate is recommended as this popular event is known to sell out. A portion of ticket sales will benefit Folds of Honor.
Memorial Day at Grandscape

Grandscape is partnering with the American Legion Holley Riddle Post 21 for an Honor and Remembrance Ceremony from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. The event will also feature a World War I Mobile Museum pop-up experience with real-life artifacts from the war, national WWI reenactors, live music, and an “Honor and Remember” chalk wall, where guests are encouraged to leave messages for those who have fallen.
Scarborough Renaissance Festival

Give one Last Huzzah as for the final weekend of the Scarborough Renaissance Festival. The event features 25+ different stages at the fest with fire whips, acrobats, jousting, birds of prey, cannon drills and historic weapons demos, and performances by bards, plus some truly unique performances and artisan demonstrations.
Single-day tickets cost $32 plus taxes & fees ($37 at the gate) for adults and $14 for children ($17 at the gate). Kids 4 and under are free.
Charles Schwab ChallengeMay 22-28

The Clearfork Farmers Market

Situated moments from Ladera at Tavolo Park, The Clearfork Farmers Market is set up on the riverfront of Trinity Trails with more than 28 vendors every Saturday at The Trailhead at Clearfork. The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon, so you’ll want to get there earlier in the day for the best selections.
94th Annual Fort Worth Memorial Day Service at Mount Olivet Cemetery

This annual Fort Worth service features presentations by veterans and elected officials followed by a flyover with the U.S. Marines Cowboys VMFA-112. Mount Olivet cemetery is a significant site to local veterans who have died since the 1930s.
