From pumpkin patches to art festivals, here’s a glimpse of what’s in store for you this fall.

Autumn at the Arboretum

Sept. 18 – November 22

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden transforms into a breathtaking autumn wonderland during this season. With over 90,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash, the Pumpkin Village is the star of the show. Take a stroll through the fall-themed gardens and enjoy live music on the weekends!

State Fair of Texas

Sept. 30 – Oct. 23

Kicking off the fall season with a bang, the State Fair of Texas is a beloved tradition for both locals and visitors. Featuring the iconic Big Tex mascot and a plethora of fried food offerings, this fair is a celebration of Texan culture. Cottonwood Art Festival

Richardson’s Cottonwood Park comes alive with creativity during the Cottonwood Art Festival. Celebrate Prosper

Located close to our Ladera at Prosper community, bring the grandkids to Frontier Park for Celebrate Prosper, the city’s annual community party in the park! Enjoy entertainment, food, and fun with neighbors and friends. Along with live bands, the free event features a Kid Zone, nonprofit organizations as exhibitors, and much more.

Rockwall Rib Rub & Run

8:30-10 a.m.

If you’re a fan of mouthwatering barbecue and a bit of exercise, the Rib Rub & Run at Pickens Lake in Rockwall is the perfect event for you. This DFW fall festival is just 5 minutes away from our Ladera Rockwall community and features a rib cook-off, live music, a 5K/10K/1 mile fun run, and a car show.

Dia de los Muertos Festival

Oct. 28
2-10 p.m.

Celebrate the vibrant Mexican tradition of Dia de los Muertos at Dallas City Hall. This festival features colorful altars, traditional music and dance, and a lively parade to honor loved ones who have passed away.

Lone Star Film Festival
