It was an exciting few days at Ladera Timberbrook in Justin, Texas, as we officially celebrated the Grand Opening of the newest HUB, the heart of our gated 55+ community in DFW. More than a beautiful amenity center, The HUB was designed to bring people together. And throughout our Grand Opening celebrations, we got a firsthand look at exactly what that means.
We Cut the Ribbon!
The festivities began with an official Ribbon Cutting with the Metroport Chamber of Commerce, marking an exciting milestone for Ladera Timberbrook. Homeowners, community partners, friends and guests joined us as we opened the doors to a space created for connection, wellness, activity and fun.
Realtors Got a Sneak Peek
Next, we welcomed our Realtor partners for a special Realtor Sneak Peek, giving them an opportunity to experience The HUB and the Ladera lifestyle firsthand. Realtors toured the new spaces, explored the amenities and captured plenty of fresh content to share with their 55+ clients who are ready to discover a different kind of active adult lifestyle.
A Special Night for Our Founders
Before opening the celebration to the public, we spent an evening recognizing the people who are helping make Ladera Timberbrook a community—our Founding Homeowners. Our Founder’s Night Celebration gave neighbors a chance to gather, celebrate this milestone together and enjoy their new HUB. These are the moments we envisioned when Ladera Timberbrook was first planned: homeowners meeting neighbors, friendships forming and a community beginning to feel like home.
Then, We Activated The HUB!
The Grand Opening celebration wasn’t just about touring The HUB. We wanted guests to experience it. Throughout the day, every corner of The HUB came to life.
Guests learned something new with Mah-Jong instruction, pickleball instruction and jewelry making. In the Wellness Suite, chair massages offered the perfect opportunity to relax and recharge.
Over in the Fitness Center, guests learned how to use the Echelon system along with the various weights and fitness equipment available to homeowners. And there was one definite fan favorite—the TRX system!
Outside, the patio became the perfect gathering place for ice cream, signature drinks and lawn games, including Jenga, Connect Four and cornhole.
And while the Texas heat convinced us that firing up the outdoor fireplace could wait, we have a feeling it will become a favorite homeowner gathering spot as soon as cooler weather arrives!
