On Tuesday, November 10, 2026, Ladera Living is proud to partner with Building Homes for Heroes for an extraordinary Gifting Day Celebration as we officially welcome U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Edwin Santiago and his family into their brand-new home at Ladera Little Elm.
And we’re making this a homecoming to remember!
A Hero’s Welcome, From the Sky to the Streets
The celebration will begin with a patriotic parade featuring Ladera Little Elm homeowners, the Little Elm High School Band, Little Elm Fire, Police and Emergency Services, and the Patriot Guard. Together, we’ll line the streets to show our appreciation for Staff Sergeant Santiago and his family’s service and sacrifice.
Then, get ready for a truly unforgettable moment!
In a spectacular tribute to our nation’s heroes, a parachute team will descend from the sky to deliver the keys to the Santiago family’s new home! It’s a once-in-a-lifetime moment that symbolizes the gratitude of an entire community and the beginning of an exciting new chapter for a deserving military family.
Honoring Service, Celebrating Sacrifice
Throughout the morning, community leaders and special guests will share words of appreciation, encouragement, and celebration as we recognize Staff Sergeant Santiago and the mission of Building Homes for Heroes.
Our distinguished speakers and guests will include:
